"Embrace" Poster Print from Italian Wine Painting

Part of the Wine Collection series, this painting was created using a deep red wine from Valtellina in the Lombardy region in Italy.

Valtellina wines are light-bodied and refreshing. My favorite is from the Nebbiolo grape, often found on steep, terraced vineyards, clinging to hillsides. 

I painted this series during a time when I was learning about self-acceptance. The tasks as a young mother; the daily love one must give--not only to her children and family, but to herself.
